The Post Office Process Review (PPR) scheme was established to provide redress to postmasters who were financially impacted by issues in Post Office Limited products, policies or processes between January 1991 and May 2021 (excluding those related to the Horizon and Capture software).
This research seeks to understand claimants’ experience of the scheme, from the initial application process to the final settlement. It will explore claimant satisfaction with their experience of the scheme, the timeliness of decisions, and the fairness of the settlement offered. Your insights will help us evaluate the scheme’s effectiveness and identify areas for improvement that will help to design future government redress schemes.
This research is due to start in October 2026
